Thank you!
I haven't heard a final total yet, but it sounds like Dingwall Academy pupils and staff raised approximately £5000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust last Friday. I myself am very grateful to all who participated, and to those who gave so generously. Here are a few pictures of the event (PS I'm still waiting for someone to send me video footage! Links to YouTube etc are fine, too).
Int 1 Homework due Wednesday 21st
A reminder of the mini-essay question:
The question
Choose one character from the novel. Discuss your first impressions of that character, moving on to explore one or more points of interaction with one other character.
Remember: Try to use PEE statements as far as possible, limiting your retelling of plot details to the bare minimum (i.e. just give the context, don't retell the story!).
Remember to use quotations to support your points.: Choose one character from the novel. Discuss your first impressions of that character, moving on to explore one or more points of interaction with one other character.

We still have a ways to go before tomorrow at lunchtime, so dig deep, everyone. I'll have an envelope available in my classroom for cash donations.
